What Time?
We usually like to start about two hours before sunset. This lends to great light and then some night shots which always turn out awesome! Also, this allows time for travel/attire changes.

The Goal
It's all about the two of you and simply put, to have fun. We will provide direction but the ultimate goal is for you to just enjoy time with each other and we'll be there to capture it.

How Long?
Plan for 2-3 hours for start to finish.

Hair & Makeup
Having them done professionally before the shoot is definitely something to consider. We've seen what a HUGE difference this can make in the final images. 

Location(s)
The usual spots are parks and Urban crawling is also good… picking the best few blocks in the city and roaming. If there is a special coffee shop, park bench, or whatever it may be, it's always nice to incorporate places that mean something to just the two of you as well. If you need help with suggestions we are here to help.

Attire
Coordinating outfits are great, but avoid getting too “matchy”. Instead, choose accessories that compliment each other. Wear colors that work well on you. Clean lines look really good (i.e, avoid bulky clothes) -V-necks (for her) are usually a good choice. The more simple, i.e. less distracting, the better. If you need some advice on if something will photograph I'm happy to help.

Wear comfy shoes! Or, at least bring them with you. You can always switch between your fancy shoes and your comfortable ones. You don’t want to be uncomfortable 30 mins into the session because your feet are throbbing.

Outfit change: 
Most couples bring at least one outfit change. A change of outfits help separate the different locations and just adds variety to the types of shots. One outfit can be more casual while the other more formal. Where you can change will depend upon the locations you decide on.
